Zan Wimberley is a photographer, moving image maker and artist who works across Melbourne, Sydney and Internationally.
Zan is known for her captivating and sensitive portraits and an exacting yet nuanced approach to working with artists and creatives with performance, installation, artwork documentation and marketing imagery. Her background ranges from precise, technical scientific photography, to working under cinematographers on major feature films.
Zan is the principle photographer for Carriageworks, Biennale of Sydney, Melbourne International Film Festival, Sydney Contemporary, Anna Schwartz Gallery, Mike Parr, and Malthouse Theatre season program photography. Zan completed her Masters at Sydney College of the Arts.
Zan does work with internationally renowned Studio Olafur Eliasson and Katharina Grosse, as well as national and international artists and creatives. Other clients include regular projects with Sydney Theatre Company, MCA, Australia Council for the Arts, Chunky Move, Bell Shakespeare, Art Collector Magazine, Artist Profile and ABC Arts.
