Clare Press is a Sydney-based presenter, author and activist, who founded the Wardrobe Crisis podcast in July 2017, now in its fourth series.

Clare pioneered the role of sustainability editor at Vogue, and over a long career in journalism contributed to publications including The Guardian, Rolling Stone, AnOther, and Business of Fashion. Her books include Wardrobe Crisis (2016) and Rise & Resist, How to Change the World (2018). Clare is a Global Ambassador for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Make Fashion Circular initiative, and is part of the Fashion Roundtable team in the UK. She sits on the advisory boards of Fashion Revolution (Australia) and Copenhagen Fashion Week.

In 2019, Clare was named one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence and won the Green Globe Sustainability Champion Award. Her latest podcast project is a collaboration with the UN's Ethical Fashion Initiative.
